Aviation Physicals

Dr. Meier has been a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner for the FAA since May 2007. She currently conducts all Class 2 and Class 3 FAA medical exams and will soon offer Class 1 medical exams for airmen who need to update their medical certificate to fly an aircraft.

Our exams are conducted in a medical office setting using the FAA MedXPress online application system.

MedXPress

The FAA MedXPress system allows individuals who require an FAA Medical Certificate or Student Pilot Medical Certificate to electronically complete FAA Form 8500-8. Information entered into MedXPress is transmitted to the FAA and made available for us to review during your medical examination.

NOTE: A medical examination by an FAA-designated Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) is required to complete the certification process. The FAA MedXPress system is not available for the submission of FAA Air Traffic Control Specialist exams at this time.

Go to FAA.gov to start your application process, then print out the summary page and bring it, along with your confirmation number, to your appointment.

Note: We only conduct Class II and III physicals. Exams last 45 minutes.
