FAA Aviation Physicals

PrivateJet800Dr. Meier has been a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner for the FAA since May 2007. She currently conducts all Class 2 and Class 3 FAA medical exams and will soon offer Class 1 medical exams to airmen who need to update their medical certificate in order to fly an aircraft.

Our exams are provided in a medical office setting using the FAA MedXPress online application system.

The FAA MedXPress system allows individuals who require an FAA Medical Certificate or Student Pilot Medical Certificate to electronically complete the FAA Form 8500-8. Information entered into MedXPress is transmitted to the FAA and made available for us to review at your medical examination.

NOTE: A medical examination by an FAA-designated Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) is required to complete the certification process. The FAA MedXPress system is not available for submission of FAA Air Traffic Control Specialist exams at this time.

Go to https://medxpress.faa.gov to start your application process, then print out the summary page and bring this page, as well as your conformation number with you to the appointment for your exam.
